THE DISGUISED SENSES

DEAR READERS,

"Elizabeth Gilbert" wrote in her book "Eat pray love" that,
"Your emotions are slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slaves to your emotions". It is perfectly true in the case of not only humans but even in animals also. Why we are always so helpless in front of our emotions ???? Why we are not able to fight it out ??? The ocean of emotions creates a havoc inside us which kills us each second , each minute and each day.

No one questions the value of feeling good. People are in a quest for a blue-sky state of mind where they are searching for a spectrum between contentment and ecstasy. Feeling bad is totally a different matter entirely. Emotions that generate unpleasant feelings have been called wrath or envy shunned in jealousy or frustration identified as unhealthy. We suppress them and berate ourselves for feeling them.

We always come across people who say that we don't have feelings, we are weak in emotions and all sorts of psychological taunts. But, the truth is no one can be simply hollow. Without feelings and emotions he/she cannot exist. It can be said that they are a bit weak in sensing their feelings. I am not talking about our general sense organs, I am talking about that two disguised senses which work more than these ones. 



We have always heard people saying that "listen to your heart" and "listen to your mind" phrases. It is because their is always a constant fight between our heart and mind that who will win the race, who will have a say on us.But, the truth is you define your true nature, your own authentic identity. The identity that remains constant throughout your life.Is it possible to carry a constant emotion and feeling with yourself to maintain your identity ???

This is where your disguised senses help you. They are responsible in forming your feelings and emotions.  Say your gut instincts or your intuition or your inner compass. Hence, feelings say the way we live and the emotions say the likes and dislikes we feel in these situations. For your feelings, first and foremost the emotions matter but for your emotions, the external world matters.The long term survival is your feelings but the immediate survival is the emotions.

A constant question that arise is, in some situation both heart and mind coincide. What shall be done ??



Actually, it is that state where actually you want to listen the voice of heart but the gut instincts overlap and mind comes in between.
Study says that always a person feels the disbalance when he is excited or confused or both. I always convey one thing that do what you love the most and for that listen to your heart with a constantious effort from the mind. 

After reading some articles, it is always commented that a person who is in love and a person who is planning his future are the most suffering people in this category. This situation what they face is not a problem but a category from where a solution can arise. The see-saw between heart and mind goes on but the ultimate reward comes to us. It is not that which is better but both give a solution according to situations. One being professional and ethical while other being a bit immature but relaxing with contentment based.

When you listen to your heart, automatically mind plays a role in maximizing the thought process. It is never one way, always a both way decision that these disguised senses provide for energizing you and amplifying you. We always fail to notice the proper way to analyse the way our disguised senses help us out and that's why we say that our heart and mind are saying different analogies. So, carry out with your work, listen to your heart, amplify your thoughts, love the work you do and give it a proper direction.
